Delete your TillKiller account
This page explains how to have your TillKiller
account, and the data associated with it, deleted. It applies to the
TillKiller app on Google Play and on the web.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@bringbright.com
with the subject line "Delete my TillKiller account".
- Send the email from the address you sign in with
(or include it in the message) so we can verify the account is yours.
- We'll confirm the request and complete the deletion within
30 days, then send you a final confirmation.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account — the Firebase
Authentication record (email address and credentials) is permanently
deleted.
- If your account owns a club — the club's entire
workspace is deleted with it: member records, products, stock,
sessions, and the sales/tab ledger. We recommend exporting any
reports your committee needs first (Reports → CSV export).
- If you are a member of someone else's club —
your name and personal details are removed or anonymised. The club's
financial ledger entries (sales and payments) are the club's own
accounting records: they are retained by the club but no longer
linked to you in any identifying way.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups — deleted data may persist in our
encrypted backups for up to a further 30 days before it cycles out.
- Crash diagnostics — anonymous crash reports
(Firebase Crashlytics) age out automatically within 90 days and are
not linked to your account.
- Legal — we may retain specific records where the
law requires it; we'll tell you in our confirmation if anything is
held back and why.
